The Dion Johnson Patient Education Center at National Rehabilitation Hospital provides patients and their families with the latest information and adaptable computer resources.
The foundation partnered with the Washington Redskins Leadership Council and raised the initial $60,000 to create the facility. NRH will be celebrating it's 25th anniversary in 2011 and the Patient Education center will grow and change locations as it becomes part of the new neuroscience wing that will open in the Spring. NRH has consistently been recognized for it's outstanding patient care and the Patient Education center is just another example of putting the patients and their priorities first.
Dion and his family thank NRH for their work with Dion after his spinal cord injury in 1993 and for their ongoing belief "may your mind see further than your eyes."
